Old Point Loma lighthouse is a lighthouse in San Diego County, California. California has 52 lighthouses on record at Wayfarrow, 3 of them in San Diego County.

It was built in 1855, in the Civil War era, making it the oldest of the 33 in California with a recorded construction date; its light sits 463 feet above the water; it guards Pacific Ocean; it was deactivated in 1891.

Status check, 2026-11: First lit Nov 15, 1855 and shut off in 1891, when the New Point Loma Light replaced it. It is now preserved by the NPS at Cabrillo National Monument, and its tower and lantern were rebuilt in 1983. Only Wikipedia and Wikidata give a height (46 ft / 14 m), so it is left null; the 422 and 462 ft figures are elevation above sea level, not tower height. Old Point Loma lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It stands at 32.6717° N, 117.2408° W.
