Stratford Shoal Light is a lighthouse in Connecticut. Connecticut has 34 lighthouses on record at Wayfarrow.

It was built in 1877, in the late 19th century, making it the 16th oldest of the 28 in Connecticut with a recorded construction date; the tower stands about 35 feet tall (14th tallest of 21 measured in Connecticut); its light sits 59 feet above the water; the light characteristic is recorded as Fl W 5s (a white flash every 5 seconds), with a range of about 13 nautical miles.

Status check, 2026-11: The 1837 date in the record belongs to a lightship; the granite lighthouse was first lit in 1877, though HAER and NRHP give 1877–1878 for the building. The tower is 35 ft, while 60 ft (sometimes given as tower height) is the focal plane; GSA put it up for public auction in 2023. Stratford Shoal Light is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is not reachable by road: the nearest road is about 6 miles away, so it is seen from shore or reached by water. It stands at 41.0598° N, 73.1013° W.
